Classic Barn

I drive by this barn every day on my way to and from work. I've wanted to take pictures of it for quite awhile but never seen to get around to it. I'd like to start takeing more pictures of more barns in the area. I guess it's just the cheesehead in me, or the fact that I'm a city boy that admires people that live and work on farms. The thought of getting up early in the morning and going to bed late at night not because you want to but because you have to sends chills up my spine.

My two dogs tend to wake me up pretty early these days. Whether it's my fault for not being strict enough with then or just realizing that I have become more and more of a early morning person and I use the dogs getting me up as an excuse remains to be seen. I just happened to look out our front picture window wich I dont normally do in the morning to see this sight, mind you it was 5:30 in the morning. I had to snap a picture of it. The picture doesn't do it totall justice. For a brief second I was a peace. Granted it was a very brief millisecond considering all that is going on in my life right now but I did feel a calm peace come over me.

My niece is 12 years old I can't believe it! It's so strange thinking back to when she was born. How our family sees parts of my brother and her mother in her.

State Capitol

Shot of the State Capitol from the roof top of the Monona Terrace. I went downtown with my brother and his girlfriend. We started off with a lap around the Square for the farmers market. I had not been to the farmers market for years. I brought back memories of gong up there with my mother when I was a kid.
